I got really emotional reading this article on wikipedia with title "Murder of Rosie Palmer" which I found from googling a tort case that I was studying named Palmer V Tees Health Authority regarding psychiatric illness. It's about how this little girl named Rosie Palmer of age 3 got abducted, raped and murdered after buying an ice pop from the ice cream vendor on 30th June 1994. So this got me thinking about how if she didn't crave for ice pops, she'll still be living and she'll be 21 right now. It's sad how some people do not get the chance to live the life they deserve while some other people out there has the chance and yet they choose to throw it away.
